Meet Cameron Chapman, Who Played Anthony Lockwood in “Lockwood & Co”

Cameron Chapman (born on July 18, 2000, Age: 22 years old) is a theatre artist who just stepped into the acting industry playing the lead character, Anthony Lockwood, in an adventure-packed Netflix mini-series, “Lockwood & Co.”

This William McGregor-directed drama is based on Jonathan Stroud’s novel, which portrays the story of two young guys and a girl with extraordinary psychic abilities hunting ghosts. An aspiring actor usually does not get to play the protagonist in their debut project, but Cameron got this opportunity, and he proved that he was worthy of the opportunity offered to him.

For those of you who do not know, Chapman has worked on numerous plays at the Richard Burton Theatre Company. He has also done several stage shows, namely “The Two Gentlemen of Verona” and “Uncle Vanya” at RWCMD.

A year later, he again worked on a stage show, but the time he played Launce in a stage show titled “The Gentlemen of Verona.” Besides RWCMD, Cameron also worked with the Richard Burton Theatre Company on different stage acts like “Terroir,” “The Writer,” and “Twelfth Night Remembered.”

Not many people know that this young lad was also in a short film titled “Dove.” It was a Lee Haven-Jones-directed project where Cam played the part of a youngster named Ben. During college’s final year, Cameron began searching for casting auditions and connected with Independent Talent Group.

One day his agent told him to audition for a William McGregor project. Upon reaching the venue audition venue, the young actor saw a lot of other aspiring actors waiting for their turn, but he did not get nervous and gave an excellent performance; Kharmel Cochrane, the casting director of the show, got impressed with his performance and picked him to play the lead character Anthony Lockwood.
